Living It Up In The Oresound Region - Alcohol In Theory And Practice consisted in a two-day evening course, dealing with the national differences between Swedes and Danes in terms of their respective relationship to alcohol. The course was based in equal parts on theory - lectures and discussions - and on practical exercises, taking place at the course-center as well as in the field; i.e. in different bars in Malmoe and Copenhagen.

The participants consisted of 50 percent Swedes and 50 percent Danes, that were required to follow through both days, undergoing a series of tests and trials. The course was concluded by a final exam, whereafter diplomas were handed out as proof of the participants’ serious engagement in the issue.

Produced for The Evening School - a project curated by Tone O Nielsen and Morten Goll as a comment on the erection of the Oeresund Bridge, uniting Sweden and Denmark, and on the meeting between Swedes and Danes.
The arrangement was based at SIGNAL; an exhibition space in Malmoe.
