Transvisit was an exhibition located to Masnedøe Fort outside of the city of Vordingborg, Denmark, featuring a number of artists from the Baltic region. The fort itself was previously used for military defensive purposes, and the main preoccupation of the soldiers stationed here was that of waiting for someone to defend the fort against. Faced with these distinct environments, a monument seemed the obvious solution.
The granite block constituting the monument was kindly donated, transported and installed by the Vordingborg road-departement and was engraved by Vordingborg Stenhuggeri.
