The Road Movie Tour

The Road Movie Tour belongs to an extended series of guided bus-tours. The passengers are involved in a meta-story conveyed by the tourguide who mixes an analysis of the road movie genre with a cryptic narrative related from the point of view of different camera angles. The bus stops at several rest areas where various events take place, all predicted by the tourguide through a manuscript which reveals itself as precisely that.
The Road Movie Tour was developed for the exhibition Generation at Borås Konstmuseum and transported visitors from Drottningtorget in Gothenburg along the E20-route to exhibition site in Borås. In the exhibition the piece was represented as a movie trailer with information about how to buy tickets for the tour.
